Fresenius strives to provide comprehensive solutions for people living with chronic kidney disease and related conditions. To do this, Fresenius combines their patient care expertise with the development of technologies, products and services. Educating health care practitioners from
patient care technicians to experienced physicians in these advancements in patient care is crucial to ensuring the quality of life of every patient is improved.

Solution: Creating Engaging Dialysis Education Videos

To help educate health care practitioners about advancements in patient care, a series of short, attention-grabbing videos related to dialysis were created by Diffusion Studios with the guidance of Fresenius subject matter experts. These videos were shared on the Fresenius education portal for healthcare practitioners to learn at their pace and on their own time.

Result: Videos Used Widely by Providers and Sales Teams

The original intended use for the whiteboard animations was to only make them available to healthcare providers who wanted, and needed, to
learn about advances in dialysis patient care. Fresenius found success in generating the “hits” desired from that audience and since expanded the use of the videos to also educate their sales force. The sales teams took the videos even further by using them in the field with customers to bring awareness to treatment options for their dialysis patients.
